Dr. Hermann graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Michigan State University. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Hermann has built a diverse career, practicing in both general practices  and an emergency/neurology center in Southeastern Michigan.

Her professional interests span emergency medicine, neurology, internal medicine, surgery, and fear-free veterinary care, with a special focus on treating exotic pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles, and birds. Dr. Hermann is an active member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), continually striving to stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Hermann enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, their two children, Jeffrey and Kara, and their family pets, including two Labrador Retrievers Sofia and Homer. In her free time, she enjoys participating in her kids’ activities, crafting, reading, and cheering on both Michigan State and Ohio State. Dr. Hermann is a proud alumni  of the Michigan State Spartan Marching Band.
